And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: and he shall deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our border. Question! What is the LAND OF NIMROD TODAY & HOW FAR DOES IT EXTEND? Perhaps into the whole earth?

            This short essay is presented to assist in bringing a spiritual understanding to the current state of affairs in the world within the body of Christ and how they point to the coming of the Messiah. Many do not have the privilege of many books to study these things. So the Preacher sought to find out acceptable words, and that which was written uprightly, even words of truth. To do this the preacher is admonished; of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness to the flesh.

            To understand the current events of our time spiritually we must look into the past. “Remember I pray thee, who ever perished being innocent?” Children from birth have a tendency to be naughty and full of self. They will not share, they will lie, they will steal and do all types of bad things for self gain if they are left to themselves. Without correction children become like wild animals out of control. So to is man and nations! Both will continue down the road of their own choosing even to their own destruction. Many will not listen to or heed the voice of correction. They are fully set in their ways supposing their choices are correct after hearing from the council of those who say they are of God, but are not. We today must be certain we know the voice of the true and living God who’s true desire is that none perish.

            Four hundred prophets chanted in one accord, “Go up; for the Lord shall deliver Ramoth-gilead into the hand of the King” (1Kings 22:6). Jehoshaphat, King of Judah, couldn’t be convinced even by this elaborate display. “Is there not here a prophet of the Lord besides, that we might enquire of Him?” (1Kings 22:7) Ahab regretfully nodded and sent for his enemy Micah. The name Micah means; ‘who is like God.’ After being prompted to give a pleasing answer Micah said glibly the same as the four hundred. But when adjured to tell the truth, he described Ahab losing his life in this encounter with Syria. He said; “I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills as sheep that have not a shepherd” (1Kings 22:17). Ahab died even though he tried to disguise himself in battle. The heart today of many are fully set to do evil. They will not hear the voice of true prophets. They may not kill the prophet, but they kill the voice of God speaking warnings to them.

‘Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.’

            It can be very confusing to many who read the Scriptures that speak about satans’ kingdom in the earth after the great flood as written in Genesis. But when God opens our understanding we begin to see His great purpose and wisdom. Satans’ kingdom began in Iraq (the Akkadian dynasty 2340 - 2180 BC) and God has allowed it to continue until this very day.

            However we are now seeing the sentence against this evil work which spread into all the earth coming to pass. This ancient kingdom and the migration of it to the now Western World can be traced on the internet. The Bible written several thousand years ago tells us what we can now read in many other places also. This is what the scripture says about the spread of the kingdom from Iraq; ‘Come hither, I will shew thee the judgment of the great harlot that sitteth upon many waters; with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and they that dwell in the earth were made drunken with the wine of her fornication.’ Notice that the scripture says; ‘they that dwell in the earth were made drunken!’ In the book of Jeremiah we read the reason why they were made drunken being influenced by satans’ kingdom that originated in Iraq. “O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed; they that depart from Me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.’ All of our lives until satan be bound are tempted to partake of his poisonous fruit to some degree, but through the power of God we can resist it by building up our selves, praying in the Holy Ghost and ‘keep ourselves in the love of God.’ This evil kingdom was also presented to Jesus in the great temptation; “and he said unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.”

            Have you ever seen a documentary where it is said; “The content is true but the names are changed to protect the innocent?” So it is also true that sneaky satan also changes names of people and places to deceive the innocent unsuspecting soul. He does not tell you an out and out lie, but he does tell you half truths which can be believed to deceive. He told Eve; “and the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die” after God had said; “Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.” God’s meaning of the word ‘die’ was both spiritual and physical. Satan’s meaning of the word ‘die’ was only physical and man did live on for awhile. But when man died spiritually his physical became diseased with death and he groped in despair separated from God.

            To start satan’s kingdom after the flood he first used wine to deaden the voice of God (conviction) in the minds of those he chose. When Noah drank the wine and became drunk the Bible says; “he was uncovered within his tent.” Then it says that Ham the father of Canaan “saw the nakedness of his father.” Notice in this portion of scripture that Noah; ‘knew what his younger son had done unto him’ when he awoke from his (vs 24 of Genesis 9) wine. And Noah knew what his younger son (Shem was born before Ham) Ham had done! It was more than looking at him naked and drunk. It was an homosexual act where the son Ham went into his drunken father and assaulted him. He literally penetrated his father!

            Now that man has the tools to unlock the secrets of the tablets and many hieroglyphics found in the ancient cities like Babylon and Nineveh which were in the Akkadian empire the true story of satan’s evil kingdom has a second witness to what is recorded in the Judaic Scriptures. When Daniel wrote of these things by revelation from the Spirit of God he fainted. Now too many can not believe their eyes or ears as Preachers with vision from God speak what Daniel and the prophets saw. None the less, the seal is off and knowledge is now given through the Holy Ghost to His own to speak a warning of these things. ‘But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.’ Will you be one of those whose heart will fail them for the things coming on the earth? Or will you be a child of light knowing that satan has but a short time and come out from his devices?

            Satans’ deceptive devices entered into man after the flood through Cush, the son of Ham who became the ringleader of the great apostasy against God. Cush was also known as Her-mes or Mercury. The composition of Her-mes is, first, from “Her,” which, in Chaldee, is synonymous with Ham, or Khem, “The burnt one.” As ‘Her’ also, like Ham, signified “The Hot or burning one.” This name formed a foundation for covertly identifying Cush with the “Sun,” and so deifying the great patriarch, after whose name the land of Egypt was called, in connection with the sun. The worship openly of Cush is the origin of ‘Sun’ worship which is seen throughout our world in many forms today. The use of obelisks, phallic symbols and feminine breasts in architecture are still very prevalent today no matter where you go in the world.

            The Bible then says that Cush, the burnt one, begat Nimrod who became a mighty hunter (against) before God. Remember now that all this is happening in the land of Iraq. Nimrod in scripture is referred to as Tammuz but he is commonly known among classical writers under the name of Bacchus, that is, “The Lamented one.” It was Nimrod whom satan used to conquer the lands of Mesopotamia to break the earth in pieces by learning how to make war. It was from Nimrod’s power that satan used his mother Semiramis to establish a false religion with its core of worship a mother son cult whom all the kings of the earth have committed fornication. In Revelations 17:5 we read; And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

            Now Semiramis, the mother of Nimrod is well known to have been worshiped by the Babylonians and the other eastern nations under the name Rhea the great goddess mother with a child in her arms. There is no doubt that the pagan and the Christian stories have been fused, or blended together to legitimize the Roman Catholic Religion with all her daughters and their doctrine of the Trinity, God in Three Persons.

BIBLICAL REFERENCES TO CHARACTERS AND EVENTS IN MESOPOTAMIA

1. Genesis 10:8-10

            And the beginning of his (Nimrod) kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar (Iraq). The meaning of the word Shinar is; ‘A country of two rivers’ which was later known as Babylonia or Chaldea and today as Iraq.

2. Genesis 11:31

            Abraham a man of true faith came out of Ur in Babylonia (Iraq) to Haran and then to Cannan.

3. Genesis 24:3-7, cf 12:5, 28:1, Exodus 23:20, Deuteronomy 7:3

            Isaac’s wife was from Mesopotamia from Hahor his brother. Her name was Rebekah. The son was not to return his wife from his kindred.

4. Deuteronomy 23:3-5

            Balaam was a false (still fighting this spirit today) prophet in Mesopotamia (Iraq) who tried to curse Israel but couldn’t. 5. Babylonian Inscriptions

            The past of Sarah and Nahor appear inscribed in Babylonian tablets.

6. Genesis 10:10-12

            Nineveh, the wicked city of (Iraq) Babylonia was built by Nimrod. See; Page 23-24, ‘The two Babylons or The papal worship proved to be the worship of Nimrod and his wife.’ By the late Rev. Alexander Hislop.

7. Zechariah 12:11, Jeremiah 46:2, 2Chronicals 35:20-22, 2Kings 23:29.

            Palestine means; Rolling i.e., migratory, Pelesheth a region of Syria: - Palestina, Palestine, Philistia, Philistines. Armageddon is Palestine! A valley near the Euphrates, Carchemish. It is located between Jordan and Iraq.

8. People of Ur.

            Worshiped Nannar as the moon god. Its’ location is 140 miles south of Babylon, 150 miles N.W. of the Persian Gulf. It was a Babylonian Royal Town.

9. Temple for the worship of Bel was Merodach.

            Death; slaughter, the name of a Babylonian god, probably Bel, the guardian divinity of Babylon. This name frequently occurs as a surname to the kings of Assyria and Babylon. Bel was in fact Cush the father of Nimrod. See; Page 25, ‘The two Babylons or The papal worship proved to be the worship of Nimrod and his wife.’ By the late Rev. Alexander Hislop. Bel was worshiped as king and creator of the earth, heaven and the universe.

THIS PROPHESY IS HAPPENING NOW!

Jeremiah 50:2 Declare ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces.

10. Nimrod Genesis 11:1-9.

            He acquired dominion and ascendancy by conquest and by the terror he inspired. He was the builder of the Babylonian Empire in the land of Mesopotamia which is also called Shinar. It is now called Iraq. Babel was built for their outrageous purposes, unity and strength to rebel against God in a name for themselves. The Assyrian name for Babel is; ‘gate of god.’ Ibid, P.39 Torah.

            The towers in Shinar were temples designed to wage war against God and called Ziggurats. During their building if a man died, no attention was given. But if a brick broke they wept and cried. Such colossal insolent impiety against God brought moral catastrophe to man. God confused them by changing their tongue to a diversity of languages.

            The results of diversity in language have ever been a source of misunderstanding, hostility and war. (Steinthal) Ibid, P. 197 Torah.

11. Eden, Genesis 2:7-8.

            A place eastward, (all compass points are referenced from Jerusalem) a place called ‘afore time’ in the Jewish Targum. Eden means delight but probably a name of a country, Edinu. This name signifies a plain, steppe and may denote the extensive plain watered by the rivers of the Tigris and Euphrates today known as Iraq. Ibid, p.7 Torah.

12. Canaanites Genesis 9:18-25.

            A wicked people from their father Ham who showed a fundamental lack of Moral sense. Ibid, p. 34 Torah. He and his offspring (Cush, Nimrod and their children) were cursed for the deed of Ham. They would be a servile and degraded race fo people. A fathers words in ancient times had great power. Cf. XLVIII & XLIX.

SUMMATION

                                    A spirit of deception was loosed by the acts of Ham, Cush and Nimrod which has broken the world in pieces.

            Notice in figure 3 at the top the shape of a bird with people in it and a ring around an arm. Quote! ‘When we look at the symbols in the triune figure of Layard, and minutely examine them, they are very instructive. Layard regards the circle in that figure as signifying “Time without bounds.” But the hieroglyphic meaning of the circle is evidently different. A circle in Chaldea was zero; and zero also signified “the seed.” Therefore, according to the genius of the mystic system of Chaldea, which was a large extent founded on double meanings, that which, to the eyes of men in general, was only zero, “a circle,” was understood by the initiated to signify zero, “the seed.” Now, viewed in this light, the triune emblem of the supreme Assyrian divinity shows clearly what had been the original patriarchal (Ham, Cush and Nimrod) faith.

            First, there is the head of the old man; next, there is the zero, or circle, for “the seed;” and lastly, the wings and tail of the bird or dove; showing, though blasphemously, the unity of Father, Seed, or Son and Holy Ghost. This form of pagan worship survived to the time of Sennacherib. While this had been the original way in which the Pagan idolatry had represented the god of this earth, an important change took place in the Babylonian notions in regard to divinity. The three persons had come to be, the Eternal Father, the Spirit of God incarnate in a human mother, and a Divine Son, the fruit of incarnation.

            While this was the theory, the first person in this godhead was practically overlooked. The same thing is strikingly illustrated in India at this day. Though Brahma, according to the sacred books, is the first person in the Hindoo Triad, and the religion of Hindostan is called by his name, yet he is never worshipped. And so it is the same in Europe where the Papal system is most completely developed.

            In Papal Italy and in the countries this form of religion has spread to as travelers universally admit, all appearance of worshipping the King Eternal Jesus Christ and Invisible is almost extinct, while the Mother and the Child are the grand objects of worship.’ End of quote.

Note the names of the mother son cult worship in different countries;

Egypt: Isis and Osiris

India: Isi and Iswara

Asia: Cybele and Deoius

Pagan Rome: Fotuna and Jupiter-puer, or Jupiter, the boy

Greece: Ceres the Great Mother, with the babe at her breast, or as Irene the goddess of Peace, with the boy Plutus in her arms.

Tibet, China and Japan: Shing Moo, the Holy Mother in China, being represented with a child in her arms, and a glory around her, exactly as if a Roman Catholic artist had been employed to set her up. Like as Madonna of Rome and her child, she was devoutly worshipped.

            It is well known, that amid all the abominations that attended this form of pagan worship which Rome has so extensively diffused and blended into Christianity, there is one tradition that is commonly accepted today by many ecumenical churches. The acceptance of homosexual priests and priestesses along with gay marriage is becoming prevalent among them. At first it is outrageous to the Christian believer, but the Ecumenical movement is a part of the ancient system of idolatry. Remember that the Scripture talks about Mystery Babylon, the mother of harlots mentioned at the first of this writing? Now you know who the harlots are! That son, though represented as a child in his mother’s arms, was a person of great stature and immense bodily powers. In scripture he is referred to under the name Tammuz, but is commonly known among classical writers under the name Bacchus, that is, “The Lamented one” whom they wept for in idolatry which had been set up in the house of the LORD Almighty. God called this an abomination!

            To the ordinary reader the name Bacchus suggests nothing more than revelry and drunkenness, but it is now well known, that amid all the abominations that attended his orgies, the grand design was professedly “the purification of souls,” Nimrod was at once in their idolatry, ‘the husband of the mother.’ This is well known in the worship of Isis and Osiris. Is it any wonder that our society today is accepting these uncivilized actions today, which is bringing nations to their knees?

            The mainline churches go even further! Here’s a United Church of Christ pamphlet for young people: ‘Loving myself is at the heart of living, loving, and growing.....To love one – self is holy.’ A Rabbi at a large Reform congregation in Manhattan was asked whether theological concepts like sin are used to instruct the young; ‘sin isn’t one of our issues he replied, my guess is that in 12 years of religious school, our kids will never hear the word sin.’

            A principal of a Catholic School in San Antonio Texas expressed a similar view of sin: ‘Oh no, that kind of language would not relate to them anyway. When I was growing up, I personally might have responded to someone if they said; Hey this is a sin. Today though I don’t think that young people would respond to that. The most you can say to them is; that is not allowed.’ End of quote.” Need we say more for the reasons there is very little Divine Presence in our lives?

            Soon satans’ confusing ‘gate of babel’ will be destroyed as spoken in Micah 5. Our past will be erased forever like Sarah’s and Nahor. The true God, Jesus Christ will be worshipped for ever instead of the gods of the ziggurat towers in Eden which were erected by satans’ messengers and offered to Jesus in such insolence. The names used for worship of this occult religion are surfacing everywhere in our modern world. Look and see how Hermes, Saturn, Madonna, Mercury, Janus, yes and even Starbucks and many more to numerous to be mentioned.

THE LORD GOD WILL REIGN OMNIPOTENT FOR EVER WITH HIS SAINTS!

            By reading Jeremiah, Isaiah, Daniel, Ezekiel, Micah and Revelations it is certain you will see the aligning of nations for that final battle called Armageddon before your very eyes. The current wars are a prelude to the nuclear holocaust prophesied by journalists, scientists, governments and Bible alike. They have moved the clock back to midnight. The coming together of China and Russia is troubling the west, exactly as spoken by Daniel in chapter 11: 44-45. The Spirit of God is putting in this writers spirit a sense of urgency to prepare for the coming of the Lord and to bring as many with us as we can. WHO CAN HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT IS SAYING!
