WOMAN AS RULERS
Genesis 3:16-AV
Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire [shall be] to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
A WOMAN’S VOWS TO GOD CAN BE BROKEN BY MAN
Numbers 30:3-16 AV (Read 3-16)
If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, [being] in her father's house in her youth; And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand. But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her. And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul; And her husband heard [it,] and held his peace at her in the day that he heard [it]: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand. But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard [it]; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.
THE WIFE MUST BE SUBJECT TO HER HUSBAND
1Peter 3:1-6 AV
Likewise, ye wives, [be] in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation [coupled] with fear. Whose adorning let it not be that outward [adorning] of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But [let it be] the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, [even the ornament] of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands: Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
AGED WOMAN TO TEACH THE YOUNGER
Titus 2:3-5 AV
The aged women likewise, that [they be] in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, [To be] discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
WOMAN NOT TO HAVE AUTHORITY OVER THE MAN IN THE CHURCH
1Timothy 2:12-AV
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
Colossians 3:18-AV
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
Ephesians 5:24, 23, 22-AV
Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so [let] the wives [be] to their own husbands in every thing. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
WOMAN ARE NOT TO HOLD PRIESTLY AUTHORITY
Hebrews 5:1-5 AV
For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things [pertaining] to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins: Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity. And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins. And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as [was] Aaron. So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.
NEVER WAS THERE TAKEN A WOMAN TO BE A RULER OVER ISRAEL EXCEPT AS AN OPEN REBUKE TO THE PEOPLE FROM GOD!
In the following passage you will note because of Israel’s rebellion and sin against the Ministry, God allowed them to be shamed by children and women oppressing them.
Isaiah 3:1-15 1881RV
For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah stay and staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water; the mighty man, and the man of war; the judge, and the prophet, and the diviner, and the ancient; the captain of fifty, and the honorable man, and the counselor, and the cunning artificer, and the skillful enchanter. And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbor: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honorable. When a man shall take hold of his brother in the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand: in that day shall he lift up his voice, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: ye shall not make me ruler of the people. For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves. Say ye of the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him. As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths. The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the peoples. The LORD will enter into judgment with the elders of his people, and the princes thereof: It is ye that have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses: what mean ye that ye crush my people, and grind the face of the poor? saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
Deborah
was a Prophetess and she was sent to Israel to Deliver them through prophesy by
encouraging Barak the Ruler of Israel to obey God!
Judges 5:12
....arise Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam!
Judges 4:1-24; 5:1-12
Deborah was raised up as a rebuke to Israel because they did evil again in the sight of the Lord when Ehud died. 5:7 She was raised up a mother in Israel. The true leader Barak had no courage or back-bone. He said to Deborah; “If thou wilt go with me, then I will go....”
NEW AND OLD COVENANT THE SAME
The head of the church is an Elder, from the group of Elder's. Elders are not woman, but men.
1Peter 5:1-RV
The elders therefore among you I exhort, who am a fellow-elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, who am also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
James 5:14-AV
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
1Timothy 3:1-2AV
This [is] a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
2Timothy 4:22-AV
The Lord Jesus Christ [be] with thy spirit. Grace [be] with you. Amen. [The second epistle unto Timotheus, ordained the first bishop of the church of the Ephesians, was written from Rome, when Paul was brought before Nero the second time.]
Titus 1:7; 3:15AV
For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre; All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace [be] with you all. Amen. [It was written to Titus, ordained the first bishop of the church of the Cretians, from Nicopolis of Macedonia.]
ONLY MEN WERE PRIESTS IN THE OLD TESTAMENT PERIOD!
Numbers 18:6-7 AV
And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you [they are] given [as] a gift for the LORD, to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation. Therefore thou and thy sons with thee shall keep your priest's office for every thing of the altar, and within the vail; and ye shall serve: I have given your priest's office [unto you] as a service of gift: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.
ONLY MEN ARE TO BE PRIESTS IN THE NEW TESTAMENT PERIOD!
Hebrews 5:1-5 AV
