"Meet International Ministries"THE ANTICHRIST AND HIS SYSTEM!
The subject matter of this essay is presented as the opinion of the writer. You the reader must pray, read your Bible and study secular history to see if these things be so.
Part #1
At the time of this writing, February 2003, unprecedented Biblical events are unfolding in
the earth. We are at a change of dispensation
and it is bringing much fear in the hearts of those that
do not know the Scriptures. But God is a comforter to those that know Him in their daily lives. His
dealings with Israel in similar situations more than proves His faithfulness demonstrating that His
divine protection extends to those that love Him. We are protected from the spirit of fear and instead
of languish we rejoice for our redemption draweth nigh. We know that the Word of God cannot be
changed, but only fulfilled.

Luke 21:25-26 RV 1881 “And there shall be signs in the sun and moon and stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and the billows; men expiring for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the inhabited earth: for the powers of heavens shall be shaken.”
There must come a demise or judgement of the ‘woman and the beast’ system with its’ blood
soaked garments from all the prophets and saints slain
in it before righteous rule can bring peace
on earth. With this writing, we intend to expose the present day ‘antichrist’ by presenting historical
documentation of events prophesied, fulfilled and confirmed by secular writing. Then by current
events prophesied (now unfolding) as stated in news outlets around the world. We will focus on the
Biblical prophesy of the ‘antichrist spirit’ spoken through Daniel about 607 B.C. and on secular
writings of that time and now.
The person of Antiochus Epiphanes was a type of ‘antichrist’ just before the coming of the
Messiah in 176 B.C. It was a time when God was silent with regards to giving Israel direction by
prophets. The Priesthood in Jerusalem had been corrupted by the Roman Empire. Gambling was in
the Temple with the money changers as it is today. Israel had been cut off in about 400 B.C. because
of their evil ways and their killing of all the prophets sent to correct them by God. There was no
other remedy!
Daniel 11:45 states that the antichrist will ‘plant the tabernacles of his palace’ in Jerusalem. He was speaking of the king of the north, i.e., Antiochus Epiphanes. Epiphanes meaning, "the manifest [god]"; parodied, that is, humorously written Epimanes, "the mad". In actuality it means the setting of his ambassador or embassy to rule over the land with its’ numerous buildings in Jerusalem. Daniel 11:21-45 gives us the Biblical account of his reign.
The following is an historical account of his reign as recorded in the Encyclopedia Britannica.

‘Antiochus Epiphanes exercised his contemporaries by the riddles his half brilliant, half crazy personality. He had resided in Rome as a hostage, and afterwards for his pleasure at Athens, and had brought to his kingdom an admiration for Republican Institutions and an enthusiasm for Hellenic culture--or, at any rate, for its externals.
He reigned 176-164 B.C. over Syria (including Cilicia and Palestine), Mesopotamia, Babylonia and nearer Iran (Media and Persis). He chastised the city of Jerusalem including the spoliation of the temple. In 168 he tried to suppress the practices of Judaism by force, and it was this which provoked the Maccabaean rebellion. He died at Tabae in Persis, after exhibiting some sort of mental derangement (winter 164/3).
He had spent lavishly on public buildings at home and in the older centers of Hellenism, like
Athens. Gorgeous display and theatrical pomp were his delight. At the same time he scandalized the
world by his riotous living and undignified familiarities. But he could persevere in an astute policy
under the cover of an easy geniality and had no scruples.’

At this time in history, the world was in darkness and chaos, Truth was lost. The Gentiles and the nation of Israel, the natural branches, had no divine inspiration from God to rightly understand and apply the Scriptures, the only light. Only a handful had light to fulfil God’s promises to Abraham and they were in a wilderness away from the mainstream of society, hidden as it were.
The stage was set for Truth to appear, The Messiah in Human Form, The Living Word to bring the True Light, die, resurrect and set judgement in the earth!

John 16:7-11 RV 1881 “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.”
Over the course of recorded Biblical and secular history there has been many ‘antichrist’ in the world, for satan is not yet bound and his spirit is able to enter into those he chooses who are not protected by God. We have presented one antichrist person to show the succession to the final one, again, just before the second coming of the Messiah.
Part #2THE FINAL ANTICHRIST JUDGEMENT!
We are again at the conclusion of an age when the Messiah is about to return and a great
change is taking place. Again man is continually doing wickedness with a mind set against God by
rejecting the voice of His messengers.
As God raised up Babylon to judge Israel and then later
destroyed them
, so too now He is raising up a power to set His judgement in the earth. He will
purge the world for His very elect to rule with Him on His return, that is, we are again at the point
of no other remedy! All souls belong unto God and are not to be bondmen to man.
Salvation of the Gentiles is about to finish!
God is raising up a people to fight against the
enemies of Israel, thus fulfilling His promises written in Daniel concerning His return to the Jews
to complete the Seventy weeks
and the setting up of an eternal kingdom.
It will be as the days
when Israel was cut off and given to the Babylonians, except for Edom, Moab and Ammon,
and
when the flood came in Noah’s day and destroyed the wicked, except for Noah and his family. The
days of war will be shortened for the very elects sake, else no flesh shall be saved.
Quote! Matthew 24:22 ‘And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh
be saved: but for the elect's
sake those days shall be shortened.’
Through studying the current events that have taken place in the world since 1948 until the present one can see that the prophesy of Daniel 11 has two meanings. The first literally was fulfilled by Antiochus Epiphanes as an antichrist type for judgement and the second which is about to happen. The writings of Daniel are reiterated by the sayings of Jesus Christ as recorded in Matthew 24:15-28.
At this very moment, December 29th 2002 the United States and Britain with the EU are the
heirs of the same kingdom that Antiochus Epiphanes was apart of and ruled over,
only at a later
time in its history. Britain I believe is the head of the beast and the USA is the body or strength of
the beast that John the revelator describes that was, and is not and yet is. By comparison, there are
amazing similarities between Antiochus Epiphanes and recent USA rulers such as Clinton and Bush
and the prophesy of Daniel.
Could Bush be the antichrist?
Bush was not given the honour of the kingdom
and he certainly came in peaceably with
flatteries. He has a covenant with Rome
and with it he certainly honours the god of forces
mentioned in Daniel 11:38. He has become strong with a small people
and has come in peaceably
consolidating his power by scattering riches among those he aligns with.
He certainly is forecasting
his devices against the ‘axis of evil’ and all other powers aligned with them. Some he speaks of
openly and others under the table because he needs them for economic strength.
The nations of Libya, Egypt and Ethiopia
are aligning with the Western Powers. The
Chinese and the Russians are aligning together with Iran, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, North Korea and
other Slovak Nations to resist the West.
An announcement in the news on 12/29/2002 advised that America would move its’
Embassy
to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv which is increasing tension in the Middle East. It is a clear
sign that Israel will never give up Jerusalem or share it with the Palestinians.
Bush does not regard the God of his fathers and he does not regard the desire of woman.
A recent article in The Moscow Times highlights the current policies of the Bush administration
towards poor woman and their children in the world. The desire of woman is the health and well
being of their children. Bush sees himself as carrying out the will of God, even as Antiochus
Epiphanes did. The Apostle James writes
what pure religion is and Bush is not fulfilling it!

The 140 nations of the World Trade Organization were on the brink of signing a deal that would have relaxed some of the patent laws that protect the gargantuan profits of America’s politically connected drug corporations. The new WTO deal that was agreed upon at the Doha conference was vetoed by Bush. Negotiators say the entire Doha agreement with AIDS prevention as its’ centerpiece may now collapse. If so the death toll in Africa alone could reach the millions.
Poor nations can’t afford the treatments for such ravages as cancer, asthma, pneumonia and
many others.”

And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
A sure sign of deliverance is in the fact that abortions and starvation are today killing the poor and the helpless children, born and unborn without notice to most of the world. It is a very similar time to when deliverance came in Biblical days.
1. Deliverance came to Israel after Pharaoh decreed the killing of all male children. (Ex. 1:22)
2. Jesus came to bring Salvation to all humanity and Herod decreed the killing of all males from two years old and under. Mt. 2:16-18; Jeremiah 31:15.

It is not physical Babylon but metaphorically it is permeated with the same antichrist spirit
that was in the Seleucid Dynasty of Antiochus Epiphanes. It is a system that has been utterly wicked
and in it is the blood of all that have been slain in the earth.
There has been many rise up in this system with the spirit of antichrist. It started back with Nimrod who build physical Babylon as
recorded in Genesis 10 with the spirit of satan permeating it and we are seeing the culmination of
this system soon to be judged. Even though it is a tool in the hands of the Lord as many other
kingdoms were to bring about the will of God, it will be judged as Egypt was for coming against the
children of Israel when they went down into it for 400 years because of a famine.
The prophesies of Jeremiah speak about the end of this system thus;
Quote! Jeremiah 51:53 ‘Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, [yet] from me shall spoilers come unto her, saith the LORD.’
No other nation in recorded history has had the ability to fortify itself to the height of heaven but America. Under the Bush administration a very recent decision has been made to install a missile defense system by 2004 in Alaska.
