The time is far spent and it is time to arise and trim our lamps to shine now as the Children of God the glorious light of Jesus Christ our Messiah. To those who hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church, “the Glory of God will be revealed in you!” To those who cannot hear, “their shame will appear!”
Revelation 3:18-19 1881RV
I counsel thee to buy of me gold refined by fire, that thou mayest become rich; and white garments, that thou mayest clothe thyself, and that the shame of thy nakedness be not made manifest; and eye salve to anoint thine eyes, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
A recent trip in September/October 2004 to Bangalore India was preceded by several prophesies from the scriptures that while in India and now returned to Canada have become very clear. The Lord had nudged me several times to study Nahum drawing my attention to chapter 1 verses 12 to 15. “Though they be in full strength and like wise many, yet shall they be cut down, and shall pass away.....I will afflict thee no more, and now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder.......I will make thy grave; for thou art vile....for Belial shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.” The time is at hand — trim your lamp!
Anything in us that is not Christ like will be revealed and some will be found naked without the righteousness of God, like the Pharisees who went about to establish their own righteousness. They were ignorant of the righteousness of God. They had a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. Romans 10:2-3. Like many today among us, they still struggle and strive for position, recognition and favor in this world. We call it politics in the Church. But Jesus said; “except your righteousness shall exceed [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:20
So what does, “trim your lamp really mean?” The Apostle Paul admonished us to present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is our SPIRITUAL WORSHIP in Romans 12:1. If you will take the time to read chapters 12-15 and do and teach the things contained therein through the power of the Holy Ghost, the peace of God will be in you and those that hear you! Fulfill your calling and let the anointing in you work having no respect of persons.
Be not slothful in business, fervent in spirit; pursuing the Lord: patient in tribulation, continuing in prayer, blessing them which persecute you; rejoicing with them that rejoice and weeping with them that weep, mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men, love your enemies, feed and clothe them, subject yourself to the higher powers....Love worketh no ill to his neighbour; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law! These things are the righteousness of God which is to all those that buy in the fire of the trials of life. We can only fulfill the word of God by the Spirit of God in us, He must do the work and we must let Him. Paul cried and said; “I live, yet not I but Christ liveth in me”!
If there is alive in anyone who calls themselves a Christian (which means, Christ like) the fruit of satan’s spirit, envy, jealousy, hatred, emulations, lust, greed and other such things it will be revealed and manifested to all when our Messiah comes. That soul will be naked wretched and poor in that day without a rob of righteousness! It is time to arise and trim our lamp. The call has gone out in October of 2004, mark what is being said by the Spirit to the Church! God is setting things in order to return for His Church at this very moment.
Colossians 3:1-6
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of
God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, [who is] our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: Can you hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church?
While in India during preparation for our last service the Lord impressed upon me a chorus in the shower. I began to sing it and tears filled my eyes as my heart was overwhelmed by the knowledge of the Love of God shown to me so many times. The words are; “There is none like you! No one loves me like the way that you do. I could search the whole world over and find. Jesus, there is none like you!” I left the shower and finished preparing myself to go to Church. I looked in the Scripture, the Song of Solomon and the Lord impressed upon my spirit the following verses.
Song of Solomon 2:8-13
The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills. My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice. My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over [and] gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing [of birds] is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines [with] the tender grape give a [good] smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
With more than 300 in service we worshiped the Lord Jesus for more than and hour with tears in our eyes and our hearts towards heaven. The Lord then had me read this scripture from the Song of Solomon. Such a response from the hearts of God’s people was manifested as the Lord literally lifted us up into the third heaven. A hush came and then the gift of tongues manifested. One by one two Sisters uttered voices, one with fervency and firmness, the other with a voice of tenderness and tone of calling us home. As we lingered in the presence of the Lord the interpretation came.
Thus saith the Lord; “The door is closing, judgement is starting to fall upon the kingdoms of the earth, you are entering the last 3-1/2 years. Arise trim your lamps my love for I have waited a long long time for the (spoken with tears and sobbing by the interpreter) precious fruit of the earth, he that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. Behold I come quickly, and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be, saith the Lord!”
During this trip to India I had the privilege to meet and travel with a retired army Major. We talked much about the current events and affairs of the world, myself from a Biblical perspective and he from a military. We chatted about the aligning of nations, the current strife in the Middle East and how it was affecting the lives of everyone in the earth, especially the oil consuming nations who are now paying more than US$50/barrel of oil. We talked of how that Russia had joined with China to resist the USA in their push for global dominance. How that investors were now pulling away from China to build up and strengthen the industries of India who at that very moment were having joint military exercises with the USA air force using advanced fighters. I asked my friend the question; “when will the third world war be, and he said with all sincerity, in 2-1/2 years!” My spirit leaped within me for the Lord had shown me the same thing in the Spirit almost to the day. Nations like China and Japan are frantically building oil storage terminals to stock pile strategic supplies incase the tap is turned off. This is one of the main factors causing oil prices to surge. Are we really facing Armageddon? We are at the end of time, but do we have time to trim our lamps!
When I returned to Canada I admonished our little Church by speaking this typed message and reading the scripture from the Song of Solomon. A Sister in the Church began to cry and worship the more and when I asked her at the end of the service why she cried she replied; “my fiancé in Ethiopia had just given me the same verses two days before!” JESUS IS COMING!
Let me as your brother in Christ Jesus encourage you to arise and trim your lamp and to shout it on the roof tops for the Lord our Messiah, Jesus the Christ is coming and His bride hath made herself ready!
