Isis and the temple of Isis
Starting with Nimrod and his kingdom (Genesis 10:8-12) of rebellion against God in ancient times there has always been a mark of fear. All of the subsequent kingdoms such as the time of Isis have instilled fear. Notice the two horns on the head of Isis. They represent power, authority and even deity. By a thorough search you will come to know that the horns also represent satan's kingdom in the earth and that the crowns of modern sovereigns get their origin from them. The myth of the devil with two horns is not a myth. It is in fact a carry over of the ancient deities who instilled so much fear that they were actually thought of as being the devil himself. Note: See the Encyclopedia Britannica, 1948 Edition.
Do Born Again Christians have to worry today about the mark of fear?
Luke 21:25-26 1881 RV
And there shall be signs in sun and moon and stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, in perplexity for the roaring of the sea and billow; V26 men fainting for fear, and for expectation of the things which are coming on the world: for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
For centuries man has followed traditions and teachings that have caused many to try fearing their way into heaven, hoping to escape the pending judgements of God that are coming on the earth by the scourging of man.
When an unsuspecting soul becomes trapped in the traditions of man which in fact only shut up the kingdom of God, he or she losses the blessings thereof. But, the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. (Romans 14:17)
In fact, they never really come to the abundant life that Yahshua the Christ came to bring. He "hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and love, and of a sound mind." (2 Timothy 1:7)
Another factor that is confusing and causing fear today is encouragement by some to be an activist in their humanity against the kingdoms of this world that are controlled by satan. However, our only mandate given to us "The Church," is to reconcile the world to Him, our Saviour Yahshua and to stay "unspotted from the world." (2 Co 5:19; James 1:27) Unspotted means to stay free from vice, unsullied, free from censure, irreproachable.
To fulfill our commission, the LORD has given us power through the Holy Ghost (Acts 1:8) "to be witnesses unto Him, both in Jerusalem and Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
Notice the word "both" in Acts 1:8. The writer Luke under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost is saying that we will have power over spiritual wickedness and we will have strength to keep ourselves unspotted, that is, to be truly Christian, or Christ like. Jesus did not go about attacking satan's kingdom, in fact He said, "if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight." (John 18:36) The word "both" in Acts 1:8 is applied to power to pull souls out of spiritual wickedness and to act as Christians in the uttermost parts of the earth.
In the passages to follow, we see statements that many have used to instill fear in the Church. But in fact, we have power over all the works of the enemy and we are not to fear his kingdom, but rather we are to fear God, that is, reverence and respect Him by doing His word for He is the only one that has power to destroy both body and soul. (Mt. 10:28; Luke 10:19)
I was once preparing to preach on the streets of our city in a drug area when we were interrupted by a police zero tolerance hour. As we were setting up our equipment the police moved into the area and stopped everything that moved for the purpose of searching for drugs. They included some of our brethren as they were coming for the meeting. Afterwards the officer in charge came up to me and apologized. He began to speak saying, "what we are doing is only a band-aid, but what you are doing can change the heart of man which will cause him to live a good and decent life." Church, we have power to change lives through the weapons of our warfare against spirits which bind the souls of men. Many in our street services were delivered and began living, they actually arose from the dead, metaphorically speaking.
THE MARK OF FEAR
Revelations 13:11-18 KJV
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. V12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. V13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, V14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. V15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
V16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
V17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. V18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
Contrary to traditional teachings, the mark referred to in V16 &17, which all humans on earth must take at the time of its power does not cause you to be automatically doomed. To be eternally separated from God and lost!
Satan remember, has power over the kingdoms of this world, but not over Gods Church. We are in the world, but we are not of the world. (John 17:15-16) No man can take us out of the hand of God! And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand. (John 10:28)
Being forced to receive the mark of the beast is one thing, but to worship him that gave you his mark is another. Jesus was crucified by this worlds powers and suffered the shame of the cross, but He endured it for the joy that was set before Him. Satan does not know all things, in fact he is not even omnipresent. The wisdom of God in all ages has only been known to those that love Him and He speaks to His chosen in a language with wisdom not known by this world nor none of its' princesses. Paul wrote and said; "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our Glory: which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit." (1 Corinthians 2:7-10) Could He have refused the suffering, yes! But He didn't because He came to do the will of His Father. If we are truly Christian, we too will do the will of our heavenly Father. Even at the weakest humanly moments, satan cannot force man to worship him, that is, to desire the lust of the eye, the pride of life and the lust of the flesh, for "..greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. (1 John 4:4) We must keep ourselves consecrated and unspotted from the world through this power He has given us in the Holy Ghost.
Revelations 14:6-11 KJV And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, V7. Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. V8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon [satan's religious system] is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. V9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, V10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: V11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
From the scripture passages, Revelations 14:6-11 we see that there are four things that we must do to receive the eternal damnation that is associated with taking of the mark.
1. Not obeying the gospel that is preached by the messenger of God that comes to us (vs6).
2. Not giving Glory to the God of Heaven for our blessings in this present life (vs7).
3. Not worshiping Him that made Heaven and Earth and all there is therein (vs7).
4. Worshiping the beast and his image (vs9).
MICAH 6:8
"He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?"
The real reason that anyone would be subject to the wrath of God is for disobedience or rejection of Him by refusing to hear those that He has sent to bring us to Salvation. Disobedience which is the same as rebellion, is the spirit of witchcraft. (1 Samuel 15:23)
The four conditions that one must meet to receive eternal damnation are, rejecting God's opportunity of salvation from the things coming on the world by not obeying the gospel (John 3:1-9, Acts 2:14-21,36-42, Acts 8:5-24, Acts 10:34-48, Romans 6:1-11), giving glory to others including ourselves that belongs to God (Isaiah 48:10-11), not worshiping the One and only true God, Yahshua the Christ and finally, worshiping the beast and his image.
MAN MUST WORSHIP!
Since man, that is, mankind was created by a Spirit who contained his temporal life in humanity, he by his natural inheritance was accustomed to living in a higher and loftier level than the earthly domain man finds himself in today. Man also, since they were created by God, desires to live forever and very rarely will lay down his life willingly like the animal kingdom that he has dominion over. In fact, man is so desirous to live, that he constantly looks for explanations of his surroundings, and things to enhance and comfort his life with while in his human constraint. This has been in his makeup even before his disobedience in the garden of Eden when man gave away his birthright to serve a lower evil spirit being through his temptations of something better.
Man was created with choice, the choice to obey or disobey, to love or to hate. The choices given to man take on awesome proportions, because he has power to control his destiny through them. God, a purposeful creator gave man choice because He wanted in return true love which can only be expressed through the free will of man to choose. No one knows how long Adam and Eve where in the Garden of Eden living with the choice to obey and to love the Lord their God, but we do know that a day came when they made the wrong choice.
In the years immediately after the fall of man from total comfort afforded him through his close proximity to his Creator and his protected environment, man began to seek diligently to restore his lost benefits. He soon found out that he had been deceived and that the true benefits alluded him, for there is no truth in the world. He thus turned to worship the things that had blessed him from the created world, thinking perhaps that in some way this would bring him back to God. However, mans thinking was perverted because of the overpowering influence of a liar. While thinking that in some way he was climbing back to the favour of his true God, he in fact was worshiping satan. The further down the road man got, the more he forgot about the true God and he began to worship the creation more than the creator because deception told him he could at will control his own blessings and in turn comfort himself for he now was a god and needed no other. Man continued to progress downward to the point of worshiping the fish, the rain, the stars, the sun, animals, the works of his hands and yes, even himself, man. They became so corrupt in their worship of themselves that their Creator repented (Ge. 6:6) that He had made man. MAN MUST WORSHIP!
Lucifer, a spirit being who was given dominion over all the earth through subtility, encouraged man through their ignorance to serve and worship him indirectly and directly. Satan a fallen angel himself was the being that caused man to fall from his union and blessings that came from God. Today, after many thousands of years, he knows how to deceive and trick the unsuspecting soul into thinking that all worship is accepted by God Almighty. Yet man is for the most part worshiping satan, for satan has transformed himself as an angel of light.
THE FIRST AND GREAT COMMANDMENT
Let not your heart be troubled for these things that are coming on the earth. The LORD will not give us more than we can bear. But Love the LORD our God, Yahshua the Christ and take no thought for the things of this world, but go about doing good to others and preach the true gospel message of peace, for it is the power of God unto salvation. (1 Corinthians 10:13, Romans 1:16 )
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Be not overcome with the mark of fear for it has no power over our soul when we LOVE the LORD our GOD with all of our hearts. "...Perfect love casteth out all fear:" (1John 4:18) We may be forced to do things that our humanity does not like and even hates as Jesus was, but satan does not have the power to bring us into hell through a physical mark or a politically corrupt system that he has used throughout the ages to steel the worship and glory that belongs unto El Shaddai, God Almighty.
Isaiah 26:3 1881 RV
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee.
Glory to our God and Loving Master, Yahshua the Christ.
