"Meet International Ministries"IAPF “INDIA” MEETINGS OCTOBER 2007
To God be the Glory, great things He hath Done! His blessings was an amazement to all who attended the many meetings held in, Bangalore, Erode, Chennai, Thrupity, Gudiyatham and Cochin during the month of October 2007.
Pastor Albert Williams and the Church family in Cochin were such kind hosts. We drove through the heavy trafic for 5 hours to a little fishing area on the Arabian Sea. There was such an abundance of the presence of the Lord in the house Church of the fishermen who have become the salt of the earth and the joy of the Lord. The love of the brethren was so sweetly adorned with the fellowship of the Spirit of our God; We were immensely blessed. 1Jo 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ.
It is not hard to imagine what it must have been like when they came together and ate fishes and honey with the Lord our Saviour.
The meeting in Chennai was a wonderful blessing to so many including myself! I was overwhelmed by the sincerity of the Pastors who attended the seminar. The Lord spoke to us all in such a firm manner on the urgency of the hour we now live in. Pastors Dominic Savio and D. Emmanuel brought a great blessing to us by their care and oversight of our every need. It was wonderful to see the growth in the Churches of Chennai. In the midst of the fire God is making pure gold to rule and reign with Him. One day we will all stand up in our glorified bodies!
Can you imagine what a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus as He is in His Glorified Body with Power?
I am reminded of the Love of the Lord when I meet Saints like Brother R. Jabaraj who spent many hours traveling to be at railway stations and hotels to help with our luggage and transportation. What wonderful Love the Lord bestowed upon us through him, our dear brother.
Even our dear friend and sister Helena Ruban of Chennai brought such a great blessing to us in Chennai. I am just in awe at the Love of the Lord and how He meets our every need. Though sometimes we are tired and wanting sleep, the presence of the Lord Jesus in the midst of our fellowship for certain restores our strength.
Erode was a great blessing to many Pastors who attended by being inspired by the importance of the Blood of Jesus. Even the Hindu man who owned the buildings and land where we held our meetings was blessed. As we approached the meeting place the Lord led us to claim the property and pray over it with soil in our hands. Then not knowing who would be the man to bless the children of the true God, he showed himself in the prayer line. Weeping he said, I am in trouble from building Hindu Temples and wanted the prayers of the Christians for his deliverance. Amen! God is always showing Himself to us in so many ways.
Even though while driving to the meeting we almost met with death, God had a message for a wealthy Hindu man in Erode.
What a great joy it is to serve the Lord Jesus in these last days of expectation. Our hope is not in this world and our desire is becoming strengthened day by day as we see His appearing drawing nigh! Today we do not trust on the arms of flesh to protect us, but on Christ Jesus our fortress built on the Rock.
So many Pastors, more than 60 came to the meeting from the remote areas of Erode and Tirupur bringing with them their hearts filled with precious “Gold Tried in the Fire!” Even though the fire of the mosquitos was among us, kind of like the devils fire, God’s Presence took away all our cares and worries. It was such a great time of fellowship with the many Saints, enjoying the eating of our food from banana leaves. I cannot help but cry for happy when I think of the wonderful Saints love in India who so dearly love the Lord Jesus in word and in deed. Prophetess Sarah John through the anointing of the Holy Ghost gave me several words of wisdom during the meetings.
Then of course a trip to India is not complete unless we go to Gudiyatham and meet with the Pastors and Saints of this area. It was such a blessing to see my dear brother and friend Bishop Richard Marshel again and his dear family. So many Pastors came to the meeting and the Lord Jesus certainly spoke to us all about ministering to Him and the awesome responsibility we have to discern the good and the evil to keep the spirit clean in the church. A dear elderly Sister came up to me after the meeting during breaking of bread and brought such a wonderful blessing to my soul. As she prayed and prophesied over me the Holy Ghost refreshed my soul. God is so good and faithful knowing our needs.
Can there be anyone like Jesus? No matter where we go in the world, His Spirit in the Saints is the same. I certainly give Jesus all the Glory and the Honour for His marvelous works in my soul. A young brother was sent to this meeting from Chennai by the Lord. He was told that Dr. Strome will call you when you go into the meeting. As he sat on the second row from the front, the Lord had me go down to him after reading the text scripture and hand him the mike to pray over the service! And men think that the works of mans inventions are high tech!!! 1Co 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
For the first time in India, I had the blessing of going to Thruperty and for sure I have not spelt this village name correct, but Jesus knows where we all were. This time of fellowship with the more than 40 Pastors with their wives and Saints brought to mind that God has people everywhere who love and serve Him. It was hot and humid and the amp system was giving us a fit, but God gave us a great blessing through His anointed Word. Such a move of the Holy Ghost came upon us a men re-consecrated their lives and ministries to the Lord. It seemed that the message from the Lord during all of our meetings was, “the Blood is precious and must be presented to Him in that day without spot!”
When the Lord passed by Abraham and saw him in his polluted blood, He said, LIVE! Then He washed away His polluted blood as we today can be by being baptized into Jesus Christ. Ezekiel 16:6 And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live. Vs 9 Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil. Titus 4 But when the kindness of God our Saviour, and his love toward man, appeared, 5 not by works done in righteousness, which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy he saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost, 6 which he poured out upon us richly, through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 that, being justified by his grace, we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
The meetings in Bangalore were such a great blessing to so many. They were organized by the Bangalore Apostolic Pastors Fellowship in conjunction with the IAPF. It was the first time in Bangalore that all the Pastors came together for such a gathering. Certainly the Lord Jesus was pleased to see so many Pastors come together in fellowship.
To God be the Glory, we are on the verge of such great revival among the Apostolic Churches of India. For certain the Lord Jesus has shown us many signs and wonders confirming the vision and purpose of the calling in so many of His disciples. Every where we went and have gone in the last 4 years, God has given such special miracles.
It always seems that when the Lord starts blessing, the devils start messing! So many Pastors and Saints are struggling with personal needs. Recently the very van that carried us to the meetings was in a serious accident damaging the front end and many of the mechanical equipments. There is always a need arising which is unforseen, yet, through it all the Lord provides the needs miraculously to His called and sent. To hold these meetings all over south India there was such a great effort put forth by so many, the Lord knows and will not forget their labour of Love for His Name Sake. Special mention must go to Apostle Bishop Reuben C. of Bangalore for arranging the meetings with unconditional love. He is for certain the most dearest Brother, Elder and Saint to me in India.
